Projects & Publications
We centrally conceive, and produce, diverse creative projects both for our own ends and on behalf of a range of external clients. Our activities take in (but are not limited to) print publishing, event production, digital design and technical web development, content generation, distribution and creative project management.
YCN at St Lukes
Melvin Galapon and Adam Hayes were commissioned through YCN to collaboratively brighten up the new office space of the advertising agency St Lukes.
Love for Diesel
Cristina Guitian and Chris Martin were commissioned through YCN to collaborate on a series of images to be used in darkly romantic animations for Diesel.
Agency Assemblages
To begin what we hope will be a long running and rich series, three image makers were commissioned to create an assemblage of the word Agency. They could use whichever media they liked, with the resulting work being used within this site and as part print materials for the ongoing promotion of our activities.
Optimistic images for Orange
Over the last two year's we've worked with Orange to create a bank of 'Optimistic images' to be used by the company, and the agencies that service it, across their communication. Orange provide us with tactical keywords, pertinent to current campaigns. Illustrators and image makers from all over the world are then commissioned to bring these keywords (such as half, sport, cinema, future, global or tomorrow) to life visually.
YCN Books
We design and publish annually a lovely, big, colourful and weighty Book. The publication presents a showcase of some of the most interesting work produced by new creative talent over the past 12 months alongside details of broader YCN projects and events. Now in it's fifth year the Book is published centrally by a team at the YCN studio, to date under the watchful Art Directrorial eye of Michael Bojkowski. 10,000 copies of the Book are annually, and freely, distributed across Universities, Colleges and Art & Design Schools and to creative agencies internationally.
